About me

As a filmmaker, I put my focus in making sensation. My work strives to place emotionally charged stories into the hearts and minds of the audience. I focus on conveying that which cannot be spoken, only felt. Why tell when you can feel? Each piece of work is its own entity, floating alone in the universe, but collectively telling the larger picture that is the human mind. An individual can only tell the stories they know, but everyone is able to listen to the stories of an individual. I am interested in not only telling my stories, but receiving those of individuals with different perspectives and experiences. My goal in my work is to create stories that don’t represent just one group or community, but that anyone can look at and interpret and feel represented in some way. The beauty of art is that there is no one story being told in a single piece, as every person perceives meaning differently.

 

I’ve always loved creating stories and narratives, from when I was a kid, using Lego to get my creativity out there, to now, making short films. There is no other joy in this world to me that is quite like expressing myself through my stories.
